ApplicationPolypropylene glycol 4000 is a 100% active, polypropylene glycol surfactant with an average molecular weight of 4000, and compatible with a wide range of other liquids, and, at 77°F, is miscible in all proportions with most organic aromatic compounds, halogenated hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes and acids. Application1, PPG series soluble in toluene, ethanol, trichloroethylene and other organic solvents, PPG200, 400, 600 soluble in water, with lubrication, solubilizing, defoamizing, antistatic properties. Ppg-200 can be used as a dispersant of pigments.
2. In cosmetics, PPG400 is used as emollient, softener and lubricant.
3. Used as antifoam agent in coating and hydraulic oil, antifoam agent in synthetic rubber and latex processing, refrigerant and coolant of heat transfer fluid, viscosity improvement agent.
